Overview
itemit allows users to create and manage multiple workspaces under a single account. This makes it easy to organize assets, teams, or projects separately without creating additional accounts.
Each workspace has its own settings, users, subscription, and data while remaining accessible from the same user account.
Creating a New Workspace
Users can create additional workspaces at any time without registering a new account.
#Step 1 — Open the Workspace Menu
While signed in, click your name or the current workspace name in the upper-right corner of the application.
A drop-down menu appears displaying your available workspaces.
Select View All Workspaces.
#Step 2 — Create a Workspace
On the Workspaces page, click + Create New Workspace in the upper-right corner.
You will be redirected to the workspace onboarding process.
Workspace Onboarding
During onboarding, users configure their new workspace by selecting preferences that best match their intended use.
The onboarding process helps optimize the workspace configuration before it is created.
#Inviting Colleagues
One of the onboarding steps is Invite Your Colleagues.
At this stage, users can invite team members to join the new workspace.
This step is optional.
Users can either:
invite one or more colleagues, or
select Skip this step and invite users later from the Users page.
#Final Setup
After selecting Skip this step or Finish Setup, users are taken to the final onboarding screen.
Here they can:
enter a custom workspace name;
select the workspace currency using Set Your Workspace Currency.
Once the required information has been completed, select Save & Continue.
The new workspace is created, and the user is redirected into the workspace where the welcome message is displayed:
Welcome to itemit. 👋
Free Trial
Every newly created workspace includes a 14-day free trial, allowing users to explore itemit's features before purchasing a subscription.
Users may also choose to purchase a subscription immediately without waiting for the trial to end.
Purchasing a Subscription
To make upgrading simple, a Purchase a Subscription button is displayed in the upper-right corner of the workspace.
Selecting this button opens the subscription dialog.
Users can:
choose the subscription plan that best fits their needs;
select Purchase Subscription.
The user is then redirected to Stripe, where payment details can be entered securely.
After a successful payment, the user is redirected back to itemit.
A success dialog is displayed with the message:
Welcome to itemit
Selecting Get Started takes the user to the Items page, where the workspace becomes fully active according to the selected subscription plan.
Switching Between Workspaces
Users can switch between any of their workspaces at any time.
To switch workspaces:
Click your name or the current workspace name in the upper-right corner.
Select the desired workspace from the drop-down menu.
The application immediately switches to the selected workspace.
No additional login is required.
Managing Workspaces
Selecting View All Workspaces opens the Workspaces page, where users can view every workspace associated with their account.
From this page users can manage their workspaces using several available actions.
#Make Default
Marks a workspace as the default workspace.
The selected workspace automatically opens whenever the user signs in.
#Share
Allows users to invite and share access to a workspace with other users.
Invited users receive access according to the permissions assigned to them.
Key Benefits
Using multiple workspaces allows users to:
manage multiple organizations or projects from a single account;
keep data separated between teams or business units;
invite different users to different workspaces;
switch between workspaces instantly;
assign individual subscriptions to each workspace;
choose a default workspace for faster access after signing in.
